It seems I cannot find the place to set it andI would appreciate any help from you!! Also, why are there numbers under some of the messages, the new ones OP starts??

Hi Mama Mia, I believe the order for newer posts (within a topic) is under Linear Layout.  (under preferences)

In addtion to your settings, you can do this:

We have an option which allows us to choose the sort sequence of topics in a forum (among other choices).

Look at the top of the threads, above the word "Subject" and to the right of "NEW MESSAGE."

The "Options" drop-down menu allows us to toggle between:

"Sort by Latest Post Date"

or

"Sort by Topic Start Date"

There are other options, too, but these 2 might help some of us find the newest threads or those with the most recent comments.

Hi lulu2, so nice to see you on here! I will go and try this method, some of this drivng me crazy. (didn't have far to go) lol Did your beautiful nail polish thread make the cut? I certainly hope so, fun and informative!

Yes, the polish thread is still around.  Though, there's a problem trying to keep it on the front page of Beauty. There were numerous Beauty sub-forums with tons of posts and now they are all under 1 banner. So many polish ladies are daily posters and contribute so much to that thread. 

The Forums are a bit confusing, but in the scheme of things nothing that will cause me to lose sleep.

I believe Topic Layout will allow you to arrange the threads/topics.  Linear Layout will allow you to arrange the responses to the threads/topics.

Mama Mia...We will be in your neck of the woods the end of July taking the grands to Yellowstone. We are staying at Henry's Lake SP. 

Can you reccomend other things to see and do outside of the park,any good places to eat around there,a break from camp cooking would be nice LOL
