Bounced out of bed Jan 1 - opened closet everything on hangers all heaped on floor two rails fallen out of wall.
O.k. then - spent most of a.m. sorting two big bags clothes ready to donate and I was glad it happened as I really did need to ‘clean out my closet’. DH repaired rails all is good.
Jan 2nd - bounced out of bed by ‘small’ earthquake.
Now awaiting tomorrow! Lol.

@dulwich Mercy me! What a start to the new year! Hopefully tomorrow a.m. will be uneventful!

No bouncing here! Our team lost in the Rose Bowl by one point. Today the garage called that a recalled part for my car has arrived. Now our water softener has sprung a leak. Every day it seems like there is a distraction.

Closet cleaning ... good. Bouncing out of bed ... bad. Sorry your new year started out with a "bang" @dulwich .
We had a small quake about 3-4 hrs away from us, but we have those "tiny" ones around all the time. It was near a cousin, but she didn't feel it.

@Preds We haven't had felt small ones since we moved back now one year ago - now had two reported but only felt one - got to get used to them again!

Woke up with horrible headache and upset stomach (no hangover lol!). Spent the day in the bathroom. Today was a bit better, but not totally. Happy new year to me 😱😁🤮.
Plus side....I stuck to my diet so far!

Second day of a migraine. Starting to back off now. Started around lunch time on New Year's Eve. That is what I get for finishing up end of year on Monday by 3:00 and taking the next two days off. Christmas tree still up but I am motivated for this week-end.

@dulwich That is how my christmas and new year is almost every year. Feels like a curse. May I ask if you bought those hangers that will hold double the clothes ? Because I don't think a closet pole was meant to hold all those clothes. We had that happen in an older home. But I don't think the walls in a new home with the basket type shelves are anchored properly.Stromg molly's are needed.Find the wall studs first. But now my Husband is flipping, he is always acting weird , I think he seems un-happy with me no matter what I do or say. I think my new year's resolution will be be happy no matter what.I only get one life and I am tired of wasting it on un-happy people.Happy New Year any way. ![]()

It started as a stressful continuation of 2019. My mother called at 7:15 and woke me up to say how excited she was to locate her old fashioned ledger book, where she keeps track of her expenses. At 97, she had no idea that she might have been disturbing my sleep. Then my husband, who has Alzheimer's, decided to repeat the same foolish joke a dozen times before he finally stopped. He developed a rash, for which our dermatologist gave him ointment, and asked me countless times what to put on the inflammation, after I had left the salve on our bathroom counter with instructions. I have tried to remain strong but with no family support nearby I am feeling the pressure. I think it's time to reach out to my local community for help.

I got up, prepared 3 tripple bunches of collards and got the pork loin roast in.
I haven't gotten my wind back beginning Thanksgiving morning.
Off four days next week and I may not get up!
