New Years Eve came down with queasy stomach and fever, continued through New Years Day. Better today but not 100%.

@BeccaLou Thank you for advice re rails. DH seems to have sorted it hopefully.
I applaud your New Year’s resolution and wish you all happiness. Member of my family feeling like you as her DH seems to be always criticizing and unhappy with her whatever she does - not sure how to help but just listen. Happy New Year to you too.

@Vivian wrote:It started as a stressful continuation of 2019. My mother called at 7:15 and woke me up to say how excited she was to locate her old fashioned ledger book, where she keeps track of her expenses. At 97, she had no idea that she might have been disturbing my sleep. Then my husband, who has Alzheimer's, decided to repeat the same foolish joke a dozen times before he finally stopped. He developed a rash, for which our dermatologist gave him ointment, and asked me countless times what to put on the inflammation, after I had left the salve on our bathroom counter with instructions. I have tried to remain strong but with no family support nearby I am feeling the pressure. I think it's time to reach out to my local community for help.

@Vivian call to see what help is available. I'm not sure how long your husband has been on the decline, but you know better than anyone how much worse it will get. Assistance will be needed.

@Pearlee Love the image I have now of you avec la Beatles calendar - mine is the Greyhound Rescue one - know what you mean about ‘second thoughts’ but beginning to settle back in, enjoying lifestyle and moving is very hectic! Happy, Healthy New Year dear friend.

Two days in...and I am already beyond frustrated with work. Really starting to think about looking elsewhere.
