Silly that I'm proud that Bruno is from Hawaii. Like I had anything to do with his talent and success, LOL! But I love that he is such a great entertainer. He reminds me of all the best of Mowtown, Elvis, and Michael Jackson all wrapped up into one dynamo package.

I think he is very talented. I love watching him perform. I think he is a great entertainer. I was glad to see him on halftime. His music makes you want to get up and dance.

Not silly at all MrsSB, you have every right to be proud, and thanks for sending him from Paradise to the Mainland. Bruno is an amazing entertainer and I think he will be around as long as he wants to. Your comment I bolded is what made me reply because that is exactly what my 88 year old dad said. My dad had NO idea who Bruno is, although I am a huge fan I don't play his music around my dad, but my dad watched the SB halftime show. His comment was, "that young man looks like Michael Jackson but moves like Elvis". Then he mentioned the Motown influence. It takes a lot to get my dad to listen to any modern musical artists, but he enjoyed the performance thoroughly, and had not even heard any of Bruno's songs. Now I can play Bruno around my dad.

I'm 78 and loved him. I also thought the National Anthem was sung like the respect it should have, beautiful. I also liked Whitney Huston's version, but the new generation hacks it up something awful.

Bruno Mars, gave a great show, the best, this young lady saw in a long time. He reminded me of another great entertainer, SAMMY DAVIS JR. NO ONE COULD BEAT HIM FOR SINGING, ACTING AND DANCING.

Bruno Mars Tops iTunes After Most-Watched Super Bowl Halftime Show

After breaking the record for the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever with 115.3 million viewers, Bruno Mars has roared his way up the iTunes sales charts on Monday.

The 28-year-old's sophomore album, Unorthodox Jukebox, which recently won Best Pop Album at the Grammys, secured the No. 1 spot on iTunes' Top Albums chart and his debut album moved up to No. 3. Two other versions of those albums are Nos. 8 and 17.

Meanwhile, 14 versions of 12 of his songs snagged spots on iTunes Top Songs, with "Locked Out of Heaven" at No. 6, "Just The Way You Are" at No. 7, "Treasure" at No. 13, "Young Girls" at No. 16, and "When I Was Your Man" at No. 19.

Mars' label, Atlantic Records, told Mashable his performance has had a major effect on ticket sales for his "Moonshine Jungle World Tour." Tickets for the North American leg of the tour went on sale Monday and many markets quickly sold out of tickets.

Below, watch Mars' show which, based on viewership, beat out Beyonce's 2013 halftime show (110.8 million). The show trumped Madonna's 2012 show (114.0 million).

Thank you for posting that JJsMom. I watched it again and paid better attention than I did on SuperBowl night. Such an amazing performance. Bruno was brilliant and he truly sang, no lip syncing nonsense. In the end, the sweat was dripping down his face. Best half time show that I can remember in ages!!!!! He definitely trumped B and Madonna! Love Bruno

Love him!!! I was very excited to hear he would be preforming and he far surpassed my expectations! That was the best half time show I've seen in a very long time. Kudos to Bruno! Could've done without the chili peppers but then again I didn't ever like them. They just took up valuable Bruno time. Rock on Bruno!! Loved him!!!

Yes, it's so refreshing to see an actual songwriter who can sing and dance getting some attention.

Make that a "Quadruple Threat": he was pretty good on the drums, too. Nice to see someone with actual musical ability perform LIVE.

He also plays the piano and perhaps other instruments, so I guess he really IS a quadruple threat. Check out his latest hit, Young Girls. He sang it on SNL, and the minute I heard it, I went to ITunes and bought it.
