Hard question. Cold is not what I mind so much....it's the snow when added to cold. In the teens is not too bad, just bundle up. In the twenties with ten inches of snow that been on the ground for days is horrible. I don't drive if I don't have to. Slipping and sliding on the road is dangerous.

Funny - bc yesterday it was beautiful here - sunny and probably 50 - however, the wind made it feel 30! I'm living in an apt while my home is being built and I will miss having no garage. Two weeks ago the temps dipped into the 30s and I walked out and had to scrape windows - - - reality for whats to come the next few months!!!

10 below is too cold for me, unless it is just during a cold snap that quickly passes.

I know this from walking to Mass when I was a young girl (I liked the long walk by myself). Wearing nylons and a short coat and walking about a mile to early mass, I was uncomfortable under 0 degrees. Of course, it was the 60s and I was wearing nylons and a short coat and kitten heels, which didn't help.

LL Bean cold-weather gear and boots could probably work me down to 30 below. But I would look like the Michelin tire logo.
