I never really get too cold. You can always layer sweaters/coats/hats/scarves and gloves. HOT kills me! In the south we have hot and humid. There are only so many articles of clothing you can take off and still go out among people. š

i don't mind a nice dry cold . 25 degrees on a sunny dry winter day is tolerable
but being so close to the ocean we mostly get soggy, damp cold all winter. you can feel the snow coming... the air is so heavy with moisture. i hate winter!!!

I'm in Minnesota so just pick any number! LOL!
Back in the 80's I vividly remember sitting at a stop light, my car was rocking in a straightline wind of a blizzard. The radio was on and said the windchill was -80
I will be vacationing this winter somewhere much warmer!

Maybe 26 or below.
(Love those sunny, clear , and cold days though no matter what the temp is!!!)

hi @hockey mom
most of my double 7 years on earth revolved around hockey. being a "house league" hockey mom is a tough gig, but a "traveling team" hockey mom? their hockey player children should see them as an angel sent to them.
thin your blood? nah, that is called your body's acclimation an adaptation to your environment. i know "thin blood/ INR-ProTime" readings way too well, and it has nothing to do with the temperature. the more physical movement, the warmer the blood and muscle function much easier with "ahhh", warm blood.
puck drop time!

I hate winter, I despise winter. The cold goes right through me. I hate having to drive to work in snow and ice. Seriously, if it gets below 50, I sulk and pout. Oh, I'll do my daily 3-1/2 mile walk in it; I walk on sunny days, on snowy days, on rainy days....it's what I do. But get below 50 degrees and I'll whine like a baby the whole time. And when it's windy and snowy, I'm still out there. But I'm usually kvetching about it for an hour after I'm done with my walk.
Ironically, I love to walk when it's sleeting outside. Last winter, I went out for my walk in the sleet and all I could hear was the sound the sleet made as it fell; everything else was hushed. I had a good 1/8-inch of sleet on my coat and cap, the umbrella, my gloves, and my boots were covered, too. Thank goodness for YakTrax, otherwise, it probably wouldn't have been pretty; I'd have been sliding all over the place.
Give me heat and humidity....and plenty of it. I'm a happy girl. It has to get well above 90 degrees before I start complaining about the heat. So keep it between 50 and about 95 degrees and I'm fine. Anything more or less and it's not pretty at all.

I absolutely love cold weather - it makes me feel alive - so I consider anything below zero to be too cold.
Otherwise, I'm out walking in the cold everyday.

If sunny and no wind, I tolerate the outside cold pretty well. I am still comfortable at around 18-19 degrees until my feet start to get cold.

The colder the better for me. Seriously. Winter is my favorite season. Just remember not to let pets out, and if you see homeless animals, please help them.
