In pain a lot. Going to a neurosurgeon tomorrow-spinal stenosis. Will see what can be done that doesn't mean surgery. How about you, @aj1980?

Went to the Eye Dr. on Thursday and it is not time for my second cataract to be taken out. I was happy about that. He said it only moved slightly.

Friday went for my three month checkup and my EKG was normal. I was very happy with those results also.

For all those in pain, I have been there also. I still struggle with sciatica, migraine headaches, and torn rotator cuff tears.

I have something going on every day of my life.  It's my reality.  I woke up with a tightness in my neck and shoulders.  Nothing new about that.  I just need use a heating pad and start moving.

Re: How Are You Feeling Today

The week is starting off badly, our cousin was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 years ago and had surgery/treatment, unfortunately it came back and she went back to the hospital in January. She was told she had a few weeks and has been in/out of the hospital since. . . we got the dreaded call this morning, she passed away at the hospital.

Not an hour later hubby's best friend called, his son was found dead this morning, the fire department had to break into the house in response to a wellness check request.

I hope this is the last of this for now, our former parish priest passed away right before Easter, so this makes three.

Yes, I have aches, pain and concern.  My "normal".

@catter70, I will be interested in what the surgeon tells you. Last August I'd finally had enough of this odd numbness and tingling in my legs and started doing testing. So far I've been diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis and more recently peripheral neuropathy. Thus far I've only been seeing my GP but will be moving on to a neurologist and then likely an orthopaedic surgeon or similar.

I wish you well with your doctor appointment. I often feel like scheduling and seeing doctors along with the necessary testing is a full time job in itself! Good luck!!

Re: How Are You Feeling Today

Of course there are aches, pains and concerns at my age. But I woke up alive! 😀 having my toast and coffee at the moment. In a bit I have some errands to run. Today is my daughter's 36th birthday. At 12:30 pm I'm going to shout It's a Girl!! That was the best feeling 🥰

Re: How Are You Feeling Today

@pupwhipped ,  mine says spinal stenosis, cervical region. All my pain is in my shoulder area and is like a tooth ache all the time anymore. My GP put me on prednisone for a week and that helped a lot, but no longer. Hoping steroid or PT will be advised. I agree with the going to the doctor thing. GP and pulmonologist (for COPD), blood work, scans, and now this. Throw in the dentist and vet appointments and it's getting to be wearing. Wishing you well, also.

Re: How Are You Feeling Today

I am upbeat, but my fatigue issues seem to be today's biggest concern. They are worsened by allergies and a sinus infection that won't go away. Both of them make me tired even on a good day. Like someone once said, "Having an old body is like owning an old car. Each day you are glad it starts, but some part usually needs extra maintenance."
