Those songs were amazingly big hits !  Do you think those that turned them down wish they had not been so careless ? Lost that money in their pockets, lol !

Interesting. Like famous movie roles that were turned down by another well known star. I think I read somewhere that Frank Sinatra was originally cast as Dirty Harry, but had to back out because he broke his hand in the famous fight scene in Manchurian Candidate.
