Nothing at all but it seems he's doing all the work and she's reaping all the benefits.

Re: House Hunters International tonight !

While the couple was being transferred from Serbia to Belgium due to the husband's job, I did not get the feeling the wife did not intend to work. Wasn't she the one who worked all over the world?

I would have taken (in a heart beat) that quirky, center city apartment before I chose life in the suburbs.

Lila, Leuven is a little further away from Bruges than Brussels is. Not super far - a little over an hour, but not nearby. :-)

You're right, it's a bit farther from Brussels. My intent got lost in the translation ! : )

Point taken. :-) And I agree with you on living in the heart of it all. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

As I remember they weren't married and she made no mention of looking for a job. Had that been the case she would have mentioned that when they discussed which apartment to rent.

I saw her as a user and didn't get the impression she was that fond of him.

Lana McCoy has always dreamed of living abroad. Her husband Chris wanted the American Dream. After a fateful test trip to Africa, Chris saw the light and took a job with an international company to make his wife's dream come true. But about a year into living in Serbia, Chris's company wants him to move to Belgium. Lana's leaping at the chance to explore, but Chris has reservations about starting over - again. He wants a rustic home close to work, and she wants modern living in the heart of Bruges. Now, they'll have to find a middle ground when House Hunters International seeks a sweet spot in Bruges, Belgium.

It appears I remembered incorrectly. I still I found her unlikeable.
