Someone close to use painted their house a real slightly cream white and put light taupe shutters and trim and it is absolutely stunning. It is a traditional 2-story brick house and it looks like a million bucks. I would never have thought of that.

2 shades of grey, light for the body, medium for the trim. White doors and bahama shutters.

My house is red frosted brick so it looks pink - I have cranberry front door and shutters. A little white vinyl siding on the top front.

My favorite house color as of late is a pale creamy yellow with periwinkle door and shutters - a neighbor a few blocks away recently did this. Love it.

Everyone's homes look so nice. Choosing a house color is so difficult, it's very easy to go wrong. I had a local artist choose my colors. I told her what I was leaning towards and she took it from there. I have a 70s ranch style home with wood siding, very plain. The body of the home is a creamy vanilla with a very faint peach tint. The shutters are Caviar, front door is Peacock. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the cream paint but it was a word that I wasn't familiar with. I know it's written down somewhere, but where? I wanted a smoky sage green but both my neighbors across the street have something similar. At least I can look at their homes!

All I ever had was brick. Paint has to be maintained.

Fades, shows hail damage, etc. Brick is forever unless

tornado takes it. Husband (since deceased) also had them to build with 2X6's instead of 2X4's.

Have to weigh all possibilities and keep good insurance !!

Dark taupe cedar with cream-colored brick accent.

I chose Terracotta, way out of the norm in our neighborhood. Even my family were, are you sure. Everyone has beige, white or taupe. I get so many compliments.

My house is the color of the under-side of a silver maple leaf. Terracotta brick on the bottom half of the two-story. Window frames are white and there's a bright red front door.
