Hosts Voices

Do you suppose that when they interview new hosts that they listen to their voices? Last night I fell asleep and woke up to the worst voice I've ever heard, then fell asleep again and was awoken to another horror. I know that I could have turned the tv off (as some will say). But I just wondered if anyone thinks this also? Especially, Gabrielle Kerr and Amy Stran. Not only are they high pitched but also speak at the speed of sound- really very annoying. They really need some speech training.
