I am a big spelling nut. Anyway at our local library one of the volunteers put up an  Easter poster (called it Eastereen)and had put up sentences like:" don't be frighten of the Easter Bunny, its not SCRAY" instead of Scary. When I pointed out the spelling error I was told I was too fussy. 

On another note:it IS Easter and I object to it being tied in w/ Halloween. At that point I didn't say anything.

Excuse any errors I may have made,difficult for me to type.

Thank you.  I was a secretary and went to school for word processing, and was an English major.  I guess that is my reasoning.  People in public speaking should know how to speak correctly.

I agree. I have noticed that too. That should be a requirement to be on air.

II agree.  That isn't saying much for the executives of QVC.  They should be corrected. I oftren hear that also.  Maybe they are not finding the smartest and best hosts.
