@dmeasy I agree... he is a very good host. Professional and easy to listen to.

Hopefully he won't subscribe to the singing and dancing or car salesman style.

The only ones that mostly stick to giving the necessary info on items and aren't stumbing talking over Reps are Rosina, Steve, Avijah , Melissa and Vanessa.

I sure didn't enjoy his presentation of a bra this morning. That's going too far and may be a "first" for QVC. Hopefully also the last.

I'm not crazy about him.

Years ago Paul Deasy presented a bra, much to his unhappiness. he was subbing fora sick female host and it happened to be in his show.

John B is a Broadway performer been in many musicals sings, dances. . He has played Danny in Grease. I wonder if he gave it all up just to be on the Q or if this is just a temp stopover for him. I think he is adorable.

Broadway and theater is a brutal business with uncertain opportunities. And John's major jobs were all road productions.

A nice salary, a 401k, benefits of all sorts are likely very attractive.

@dmeasy I believe relating ego-driven to gender is nonsensical. Gender has nothing to do with it. My first thought was exactly like @Janey2 . There are a couple male hosts I feel are very egotistical. I also find many female hosts pleasant and not into themselves.

I have, for the most part, enjoyed John as a host. There have been a couple times he gets to talking too fast and he is incorporating his family and friends more and more into his presentations. Hopefully it isn't the beginning to what will come from the influence of some other hosts.
