I realized as I was looking through some host pick items, that I didn't see anything from Carrie and that I hadn't seen her in awhile. I went and checked her FB page and evidently she made the announcement at the beginning of October that she realized after having her second child that time moves quickly and she decided to leave.

Yes, I saw her last show.
At the end of her show, HSN gave her a cake and flowers.
Her husband and children were there, too.
She shed a tear or two when she said goodbye.
It was very low-key.

I liked her, always a pleasure to watch & professional. Just once I'd like a host to say the truth...The company has decided not to renew my contract...enough with more family time baloney.

@kitcat51How do you know which are let go and which decide to go?
I can't name a single HSN host, so my question has nothing to do with this particular one, just more curiosity because that seems to be the usual reaction around here for everyone who leaves.

Common sense...almost every female host uses the same reason, it's the company line because they don't want viewers to be upset a host they like is leaving. I'd appreciate the truth, contacts don't get renewed & there's nothing wrong with that so be honest when it happens. Oh I forgot about the second act excuse, it's getting old too.

In her post on FB about this, she does say she promises we will see her down the road. That could mean a lot of different things.
I always liked her but I didn't see her often. I have to wonder if because they aren't broadcasting 24/7, she wasn't getting enough hours to make it worth her while.

They really should come up with something different than "to spend time with my family". That's beginning wear a little thin....LOL

Is that correct that Connie Craig and Bret are no longer on HSN?
@Kindaglitzy, they both left as did Robin Wall. All within about the same time frame. If I remember correctly, it was not long after HSN decided to go to taped shows during the overnight hours.
