Re: Time to Bake for Halloween

Cute stuff, no one to bake for, and I can't eat it, but it is such fun to see  the goodies

@Cakers3   Thanks for posting.  These are a hoot and I always enjoy seeing the bloopers.

@Cakers3

These always make me laugh.  I imagine someone being begged to fix them, and then, their attempts fall so short....

Years ago, there were some beautiful pumpkins on the cover of a Martha Stewart magazine...they were little cakes put together to appear very pumpkin-like.

Now, they have pans to help you do such things...but, my husband doesn't like sweets and I don't need them.

Love looking though!

Dh and I were talking about the homemade treats we had as kids and when my DD was a wee one.  Oh, how we miss those.  I keep saying I'm going to make us something gross one year for dinner.  He laughed and said "You do that everytime you're in the kitchen,"  Men!  LOL

@Preds   Gotta love 'em.

I have so many seasonal baking cutters, pans, decos, even holiday themed spatulas.

What was I thinking?  And yet I still browse Williams Sonoma and think:  I could use a spatula with a pumpkin on it.

@lovesrecess   That is where I get the pics of the store bought cakes.  LOL

The comments are funnier than the cakes sometimes.
