Honora = ho hum

I've been looking at what Honora has been offering in the last few days and I have to say, there's nothing much that rings my bell. Honestly, it looks like they took pearls that were maybe a little bit better than mediocre and are trying to market them as new, original styles. Well, as Mammy said to Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind, it's just a "mule in a horse harness". You can wrap it up pretty and shine it up and all that, but they're still just mules in a horse harness.

And the prices! Actually, I did see a few good deals but then I saw pearl/BRONZE bracelets at $100+!!! Are they crazy? do they think their customers will really fall for that? I do like some of qvc's bronze jewelry and I have a few pieces myself, but I didn't pay outrageous prices for them. Does QVC think that by inflating the price they'll fool us into thinking we're getting something really special????

Whew! This kind of thing is why I don't buy much from QVC any more. The quality, value, and convenience are a thing of the past.
