my tiny, wee hometown in Pa has been written up in Reader's Digest before for our ceremony honoring our Vets. town is in a valley and all light candles and it can be seen from the surrounding hills and it's just a gorgeous goosebumpy ceremony. It's really awsome.

I've always lived in large cities and have never had the opportunity to watch such a parade.

I'm going to have to look up small town parades and go see one. LOL

Big cities, small cities, towns; they all have town or neighborhood parades and festivals. Our town has a Founder's Day parade in the Fall and a Christmas parade when Santa comes to town. I can't say that we go every single year but we have gone and when we do, we have a great time. We lived in another town when our kids were young and we went to all the town events then.

Does everyone curtsy when they meet you?

I live in a town of 10,000 & have a 4th of July, Fall Festival and Christmas Lights parade every year. Love them.
