Out of curiousity I just checked the video for this item.  Can the lights be turned off?  They would drive me nuts.  But the only plus IMO is I wouldn't put any ornaments on the tree.  Enough going on as it is---LOL!!

I feel it's because so many were on together .   Having one on in your own home wouldn't be that  way.   I have the silver from last year and it isn't annoying at all .

  Was seriously looking to buy a new tree but the lights were blinding . The most shocking  was Shawn telling the Bethlehem lights Rep  " the only thing they were doing wrong " was not leaving QVC and selling their items retail and then they can make " gobbs more money ".

 So,where is Shawn's  loyalty to the QVC company who is her employer  .

@skatting44 .. I think Shawn is wrong on that.  By being on QVC they have time to do long presentations and show all the features.  If they were in a box sitting on a store shelf you would not have the same impact.

They don't even look like Christmas trees to me.  And notice they don't call them Christmas trees either -- they're called "Color Prism Indoor/Outdoor Tree."  I'll stick with traditional.

@Bonkers1

My 10 year old grandson was over yesterday helping with our garage sale. As usual I had QVC on continually. I had to come into the house for something and he said, "Nana, if QVC has those Christmas trees on can you tell me. I want to see them again.".

This surprised me since I don't think he's ever told me he wanted to watch a particular QVC show. He thought they were super cool, as did my SIL,

Have to agree--those trees do ALOT!! I do have a small tree that you can stake in a pot--got it a few years ago and it does have many of the same type of light modes--not like these new one tho. And I do like being able to set the lights differently. This year I bought a new tree in the July xmas days that does have light modes but just a few. Haven't opened it yet  and it is just a green one. Not sure I like the white or the silver trees-----
