Holy Land

I am going on a 12 day pilgrimage to the Holy Land with our pastor, wife and other members of the church this upcoming September.

If anyone has gone there, any hints on what I should pack? I will b ealone for the first time in travel because my sweetiepie went to heaven in Nov of 2011. Therefore, I thought of just taking a carry on for overhead and a large purse for under my seat.

Any advise would be appreciated, thank you.
