@Greeneyedlady21 I did not see her. No one saw Jamie Lee Curtis either.

Years ago a former colleague of mine married the Ruidoso Town Clerk and moved there!

He used to show us photos of the deer in their yard. Although I prefer photos of Matthew Smiley Happy

@ScrapHappy The filming was done in Ruidoso, NM. It is a mountain village in the Lincoln National Forest in Southern New Mexico.

@Mz iMac Ruidoso was established as a village. We have a year round population of about 8,000 people, but some holidays and weekends at least triple that number. The summer months bring in the people who own homes here to escape the heat in Arizona and Texas.

Paradise, CA had a population of 26,000 before the Camp Fire.

This morning the KOB website featured an article about different productions going on in the state.

Driving around Albuquerque, I see odd yellow and black signs posted near areas where filming is taking place.

Love Ruidoso! Heart

And, when I was a kid growing up in California, we spent time in Paradise.  We'd buy wonderful apples there.

So sad that the fire destroyed the area.

@just bee Life is in circles. It is interesting that you lived in California, visited Paradise, and moved to New Mexico where a movie is being made about Paradise.

@On It Looks like a nice mountain village to visit. I'm sure the movie will bring even more attention to your beautiful part of the country.
