So I go to Hobby Lobby yesterday to finally buy a big round mirror that I've been wanting for a long time. So I get it and put it in my car and drive home. The ride home was uneventful.....no bumper cars.....no turning corners at a high rate of speed. So I bring in my new mirror thinking about how great it will look up there. I'm looking at the hangers on the back trying to figure out if I could hang this puppy and this big chunk of the frame came off in my hand. So I griped about it to myself for a minute and figured I'd take it back the next day, meaning today, which I did. So I go walking in to get a cart for it, thinking there'd just be your basic return process and this woman tells me she'll "look at it." I go get it and she says the manager will be here in a minute. So here comes a woman and then a man and suddenly there are these three people standing around me asking questions and asking me if I dropped it, and looking at this mirror and scratching their heads. They think I broke it!!! Customers were watching and I could just feel myself getting hot because I'd been okay until this point. So, when it dawned on me that I was being called a liar, I just said if it is that huge of a deal to you people I'll just take the thing back home and take my licks because I didn't go over it with a fine toothed comb, but I did not break it.

So....moral of story.....Hobby Lobby should put on their 50% off signs......Sold As Is. Check what you buy there before you buy it because chances are they won't believe it was broken and put back on the shelf. So now I will drive to the metro to shop for my decorating items.
