I live in the suburbs so when driving down the street you have plenty of cars  not parked in the garage. Why?? Because they have so much stuff in the garage they do not have space to park the automobiles inside.

People have items (more stuff) that they have to place in storage. Because they do not have room in their homes.

Have you ever watched any of those hoarder shows. I have watched a few, but they ended up just grossing me out, so I am sure you are not a hoarder.  However, you have recognized that you might want to slow down.

@icezeus  I'm honestly not worried, I was more amused at my love of plastic containers. I actually use a lot of lock& lock because I cook large batches and then freeze them for later. I do think I will avoid checking out the presentations because I seem to think I need them all. LOL

Tuna fish.

@Sooner  Really?🙂

@SeaMaiden I guess.  I probably have 24 cans in several flavors!  Sometime some of them, like curry, are hard to come by.  And I eat at least a can a week.  Sardines too.

They are good for you!

@SeaMaiden, I can relate to your collection of supplements.  I am a big fan of Lessman’s supplements and a few others.  I don’t want to run out of my favorites.  Maybe all these supplements to will add a few months to my life.

@SilleeMee    Yes, @Malcontent  is a native of that area and recently visited there.  I've always admired their rugged spires.  I don't want her to get homesick.

@QVCkitty1 I don't think it's hoarding.  It might be a mild case of OCD.

I never thought I had hoarding tendencies. I toss and donate from time to time, but my recent experience makes me wonder. I received an order of Lock & Lock yesterday and after I washed the pieces I started to put them away. Hmm, no room in the usual places, than I checked the back porch and found a box with some new pieces still in the plastic. It seems I have a weird obsession with these containers, and I may need a support group. Is there anything you reorder unnecessarily ?

I have way too much lock and lock, but love them all. Food lasts so much longer in them. When I make chicken salad, for example, I make a lot, and it’s still very fresh after three weeks in the fridge. Love the rectangle shaped ones the best.

@icezeus

hmm... A "garage" is for cars??

I thought it was for   Rakes, Power Washers, Lawn Mowers, Bikes, etc etc..

J/K!  heh

When I watch those 'Hoarder Shows," instinctively, I start "UN Hoarding."  They kind of "shame" me into "UN Hoarding."

For those that don’t know, @Kachina624  is a notorious pea-a-phobe. Yes, she’s a pea hater.

Look it up on Wikipedia and on YouTube there are videos of her not giving peas a chance.

She saves no pea.

I can't breathe even thinking about poor peas.

@Malcontent  You mean she doesn't like green peas? Not  even Le Sueur green peas?  I love love those--even right out of the can.  I have "several" cans on hand at all times.
