Ok, I used to watch QVC more than I do now. It was just an interesting concept to me, selling on television. The only thing I was ever really entertained by was the jewelry, I do just love jewelry. The jewelry was nice and I thought of a good variety. I had my favorite hosts and if I didn't feel like hearing bad depressing news, I left the Q on just for some background noise. I don't watch much at all now -- mainly just channel surfing and stopping for a few minutes. With that said, I must concur with many of you about Lisa. I don't really dislike her but I have noticed how she has changed. She really is getting more off- putting with the high-end Madison Avenue talk. Maybe it's me . . . I have just never been a label slave. As a matter of fact, I shy away from labels because I find them pretentious. I like what I like and if it is a "label," it's a label. I buy things I like, not because of the name. I also tend to think lots of label items are not really that pretty. So, when I hear Lisa going on and on about being high-end and on-trend, it just sounds so high school and so silly. And, to top it off, are not most of these Vicenza pieces silver with gold overlay? And at those prices? Yeah, don't anyone to tell me to change the channel, I already did. I just wanted to check out the jewelry. I find Lisa amusing, but maybe not in a way she might appreciate. I can still get into some of her hosting but, yeah, she has gotten a little too big for her designer britches.
