My son is in Tel Aviv and managed to get to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem before the problems erupted

He bought me a beautiful Jerusalem cross made with in set Roman glass and my birthstone which is an amethyst.....He sis decided s,he wanted a cross and so did his dad...too bad they didn't plan ahead but he is going to get them one and try to touch it to the Holy Places in Jerusalem and Bethlehem if the current situation allows him to travel there

I think my cross is beautiful and handmade, but silver prices are awful so it was more than either of us thought it would be

I think he has been blown away by the beauty of Israel, and he has been all over the world, but this place really is special
