On my side of the state they said 87 for tomorrow, I just thought that was bad till I read your post @SharkE

Girl, it hasn't rained here in 6 months. Snowed back in Dec.  I keep my sprinkler going and drag a 100 ft hose to a shrub that is new to keep it from dying.

Dermatologist told me to stay out of sun. I've had keratoses froze off and one  basal cell cancer (best skin cancer you can have) on back of neck.

Just ordered another coolmax face mask and use that

$$$$$$ sunscreen and had my car windows tinted. I pay people to take care of the yard.  Summers in Tx are brutal. I'm from Southern Ind and it rains everyday up there. My sister lives on her mower. ROFL

@SharkE.  We had 88° past two days and today but cold front coming in Friday and weekend is supposed to be beautiful.  I think Carlsbad has already had 100°.

Still cold here in the mornings though.

90 degrees today, 83 tomorrow, 53 on Friday back to 80 on Saturday.

That's nuts for March in Colorado.

Denver Water sent out our Stage 1 drought condition rules for spring and early summer.

No irrigating lawns till mid to end of May.  Twice a week watering.  They're asking for a 20% reduction in use year over year.

That's the first phase they said we may have more restrictions later.

Some reservoirs closed for fishing and boating.  What a shame, the state lost a lot of revenue in the ski areas in the winter, we'll lose a lot more with the closed recreational areas.

Bad all over looks like. If we have another hail storm like we did in march of 2025. I'm going outside and hope that a hailball hits me in the head to put me out of misery of fooling with roofers and insurance.

My rates come '27 is gonna be as high as a elephants eye.

Who says we don't have 4 seasons in Texas, why it all comes in the SAME WEEK sometimes!!! 😂

If I recall correctly you live in N.Texas right???? HERE IN South Tex yes, its been 90 or 91,but at least its gonna be 72 and 79 this weekend, and then mid 80's.....N. Texas hotter in summer, colder in winter .....But this is unusually above normal for March usually in low to upper 70's down here....April is in the mid 80's.....at least in S.Texas...

The Meteorologist said its because of the LA NINA weather pattern, which is BRUTAL for Texas usually means drought, and above normal temperatures....But they said it looks like a switch this fall to EL NINO...cooler and more normal temperatures and rain ☔ which we need so desperately....

It could be worse, my brother lives way up in the  northeast near Vermont....they've had so much snow this year that he said it will probably stick around til end of June!!! ❄

@Spurt.  And I'm near Albuquerque. The last rain we had with real raindrops, and not just a short period of mist, was last June plus one 2" snowfall.  We've got a big fire already in a rural community South of Albuquerque.   Almost no water in the Rio Grande which should be full of Colorado snowmelt, except the snow pack was sub-normal.

@SharkE Your second paragraph about the dematologist could have been written by me.  A week ago the very nice  dematologist froze off 5 keratoses from my face and upper chest.  I've had 2 basal cell cancers removed from my face by the dermatology surgeon.  I live about a mile from the ocean on California's central coast.  I grew up 2 blocks from Lake Erie in Ohio and I still miss the rain.  Can you tell me  what the coolmax face mask is like and where you purchased it.  Although I don't post much myself I enjoy your posts abd those of other frequent posters.
