That snow we didn't get for Christmas is coming this evening ( and tomorrow and Wed.) With 8" plus here and much more likely get the pass we take to Phoenix today for 2 days of fun with kids.  New plan is DH stays here( dogcare, etc. and son, me and kids go as scheduled ( non refundable tickets to Medevial Times).  What are you getting in Albuquerque?

Re: Hey Kachina!

The absolute worst snowstorm or blizzard I have ever been in was going through Flagstaff on our way to Scottsdale for spring training. There were whiteout conditions and zero warnings on the radio or signs saying roads were closed. Never underestimate how cold and icky it can get in Arizona. It's not always the dry, hot desert you see on TV!

@Desertdi

Are you talking about Medevial Times located in Southern California?  I went many years ago with the ex husband.

@patbz    I heard a noontime weather report that indicated you'll get snow this weekend too.  Durango also.  We have a small 30% chance which usually means "probably not".

Today is cloudy, gloomy and chilly.  The cloudy is kind of a rare treat and I don't mind it.

@SharkE   Amen!  Last rain Albuquerque had was first of September, and I think that one missed my house.  I've been watering trees and shrubbery.

@icezeus    This thread is not my post...I only forwarded it to the intended recipient.

@Duckncover : Boy are you speaking the truth; I live in Show Low and our weather is only slightly better than Flag ( I live at 6500 ft and we have Arizona's one of two ski resorts 30 minutes North of us.
