A Massachusetts mother used her body as a speed bump to stop her car when it was rolling with her twin babies in the backseat. She's alive with injuries but and will heal from her injuries.
I always say that there's nothing like a mother's love for her children.

I read that yesterday. Wow. You are right, there really isn't anything like a mothers love. What a brave lady. I am sure she didn't even think about it, she just did it.

Wow, mom of the year award.

Thank you for sharing this story. She is a hero and brave and we know she didn't think of anything but to save her children.

heroic possibly.......but.......speed bumps don't stop cars.....slow them down a bit if a driver is in the car, maybe......speed bumps don't compress under the weight of a car like a human body does.....so I doubt what ever that car was going to hit, it didn't go a head and still hit.......it's a good thing those babies still have a mama.......but still a foolish thing to do and one where I doubt the outcome was greatly changed by her efforts.....with the exception she sustained injuries.....................................raven

None of knows how we would react in this situation, I don't believe I would have thought to do that but I applaud her. The babies are safe.

I think it's probably more then safe to assume most people would make an effort to get to the drivers door and apply the brake..........................................raven

In an emergency situation very few people think rationally. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

I agree, except when people are panicked they don't always make the best decisions.....I wonder if the doors were locked?
