Help with suicide guilt

I have a friend whose daughter is still depressed years after a boy killed himself because she was not interested in dating him.

Do you know of any good books or any other reference materials that might help my friend help her daughter?

She's young - early 20's now - and stubborn - won't go to counselling. Stays home, inside all the time.

I wish I could recommend something to her, but I just don't know.
