Are you sure it's not a 30 day return policy? No store only gives you 3 days to return an item.

You are correct about the 30 days. This is Dillard's (where the OP bought her sandals from) return policy:

Dillard's will issue a refund in the form and amount of the original tender paid (including sales tax) or Dillard's will issue a Dillard's Gift Card, at the customer's choice, when each of the following conditions has been met: 1. The merchandise must be returned within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of purchase, except as otherwise stated on the face of the packing slip or on the item's product page; and 2. The merchandise must be in its original, unused condition unless there is a manufacturer's defect; and 3. The merchandise must be accompanied by either the original Dillard's Receipt or the original Dillard's Proof of Purchase Label. (Proof of Purchase information is included on the packing slip for all Dillard's Direct orders.)

Personalized items and clearance items marked down 65% or more cannot be returned.

Re: Help with Sandals please

she bought them at 65% off so according to that return policy she cannot return them at all.

Since the question asked is if I would wear them, the answer is no. I prefer a little extra space.

I feel the very same way. I do not like toe over. Worse are men in too big flip flops and those big Ole toes drag.. ewhhh. .

My toe does not go over just fits perfect but not room left but not hanging over at all.......

A perfect fit isn't when your heel is at the very back and your toes at the very front with no extra room at all. You need that extra room for when your feet expand. And they will later on in the day.

I'm with you sushismom.

If your toes and heel are right to the edges of the sandal, they are too small. I prefer to see some shoe showing both at the front and back. If your toes are right to the edge when you are standing, they are going to be hanging off when you walk forward.

It's a pet peeve of mine--women wearing too small sandals.

Re: Help with Sandals please

I'd say be cautious about how much of the front part goes beyond the tips of your toes. Long story short, a few years ago I took a nasty fall as I was stepping up on a high curb from the street. My sandals were about 1" longer than my foot & when I slightly undershot the step up, the sandal caught & I went down hard on both knees.

RRR, if you know the brand and the model name/number, Google them and see what comes up. And check out Zappos for shoes. You may find them in the 7-1/2.

Ok but they are an $80 shoe I got for $27.........they probably won't be that cheap.

RRR, since they were only $27 I would keep them.

Re: Help with Sandals please

As long as my toes didn't hang over the edge of the sandal when I walked, I'd wear them.

Personally, don't like my toes hanging over sandals. in summer, i wear 1/2 size larger. no one else notices the little bit of extra length,; i just like it that way.

I do the same thing, but for me it's a comfort issue. To me, it's uncomfortable when my toes hang over the edge of a pair of sandals.

Re: Help with Sandals please

I'm another one who just does not find it pleasing to see toes and heels at the edge of sandals. I always make sure a little room is left for spread after wearing and a little extra room is not a bad thing.

I didn't see the OP say the shoes didn't fit well, and I sure didn't see her say that her heels or toes hung over the edges of the sandals. She said they came right to the edges, and to me that's an acceptable fit.

Honestly...has this board gotten to the point where a thread like this is going to get the most views and comments?

Yes, because op threads always seem to go off course.
