Re: Help with Frigidaire Stove top

You had one pan over boil on his stove and now he does not want you to use his stove any more?

Yikes.

To be that mad over something so small is just odd to me.

Picky eater or not, you should be able to find common ground together. Do you ever eat out in a restaurant together? Has there been a date date, or just hanging out?

You deserve more, we all deserve more.

I was cooking for myself and then I shared some with his son...........his son does not usually eat what I was cooking for myself.......he said he would take care of the stove and he showed me a cleaner but he said the food would have to burn off...........I just don't understand it and he said let him do the cooking from now on and not use his stove.......I don't blame him.....I should have been watch the water and food boiling so that it did not boil over and I walked into the living room which was in the same open room and it got so hot so fast........I would not have one of those stoves but he loves it......so I won't be going down there cooking my own food......they are both picky eaters and eat things I can't eat so I use my own food to cook for me and we eat together..........I have done that for years even with my former husband.

This has marvelous potential.

When hubbies/S/O's are picky, I say let THEM do the cooking!

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I agree. This is just the beginning. I see "abuse" in her future. RRR needs to drop this guy like a hot rock, ASAP...... She gets there at 5 am to take the kid to school and spills something on his stove one time and he tells her not to use "his" stove anymore?????

We don't know if this spill is the first one or even if he has asked her more than once to be careful with the stove/watch when she is cooking. This may not be an isolated incident. R3's history of complying with requests isn't exactly stellar according to her own words.

What is it exactly that you need to understand? If he says hands off, hands off. It's his stove not yours.

You're right, I don't know that this is the first time--I assumed so since this is the first time she asked for advice to remove the baked on spill.

weekend entertainment on the Q boards. Yesterday's post failed to drum up any drama.
