I'm not crazy about even attending very long, long evening weddings/receptions.  I like daytime, smaller events.  But, that's just me, obviously.  I just have more energy and more fun enjoying daytime events that aren't lingering on and on.  JMO  p.s.: The brides and grooms now-a-days seem to have tons of energy. 

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

around here we have weddings in the church you grew up in....or your parents or grandparents attended...even a friend's church......then reception in the community hall of the church....or friend's nice house....no cost..... no sitdown meal...just finger foods....music...and you have a fun inexpensive party
