Help....get me back to a regular, single screen on my ipad

Help !

somehow I have a split screen on my iPad with forum on one side and a Bixby ring on the other.

How do I get back to a normal screen?

Should be a tiny x in the corner, left side, click it.

Down at the bottom of the left page you should see a symbol of a page on top of a page. Click on it and then on merge tabs or close tabs.

My iPad does this often. It used to drive me crazy until I learned to get rid of it.

sometimes I can X out of one screen as someone noted but occasionally I have to

click on the book icon on the left side at the top, then I get a little blue square. When it click on that square, I get just a single screen.

I don't have an ipad but just reboot (restart).

Did check out Google and tried it through settings: nada.

In frustration, I finally “ pinched “ the left side together and it broke into 4 windows and I “ x “ out each one. It went back into one screen.

I have no idea how I got the split screen...just 2 different QVC screens.

Jklz- If you want to turn off the split screen feature (I did), click on Settings, General, Multitasking, and toggle off Allow Multiple Apps. HTH
