I need some advice from you experts. I dye my hair red and my hairdresser will foil my hair with blond. I wear my hair longer in front with shorter in back so it's important that the streaks are placed right. I don't like using a cap because I want the streaks certain places.
The problem I'm having is my hair is a ugly shade of brown with gray (just a little) so I dye it red. It's super thick and course and grows like crazy. I get it trimmed every 3 weeks and I have to dye it every 6 weeks. It's too much of a process to dye then foil. Any suggestions? It would be nice if I could go in and touch up instead of re foiling every 6 weeks but with how my hair grows it's impossible. I've noticed a small amount of breakage with the blond.
I prefer my hair to have some dimension and I'm not crazy about just having 1 solid shade of a color. any suggestions? Once my hairdresser put some red streaks into my red base (different shade) and it looked nice but it faded so quickly. Please no slamming of my hairdresser, she's really good.
I could use some advice or suggestions on what change I could make. Thanks a bunch
