(((Cater))) ....I am so happy to meet you and read your thoughts....it's a privilege....what you say here strikes a chord....my dear sister latched on to one particular train of thought and could not let it go...doctors, meds, therapies of all types, nothing touched her........I am the oldest and was blessed with certain abilities. This particular sister found EVERYTHING hard in school... I would come home....do chores....my own homework... then would sit with sis for hours...memorizing, analyzing,making sense of studies......to this day she refers to me as her second mom.....can you imagine my despair when I just could NOT help her this time?.......anyway we all walk to the beat of our own drummer, for better or worse.... I know I cannot help everyone but I'll be darned (personally) if I purposely hurt anyone....not gonna happen....take care!

You too take care Joey and I wish things would improve for your sister. It just amazes me how a few words can send someone in to a tunnel that no one or any thing can pull them out.

Common sense does not negate the ability to have kindness and sensitivity in a person. And pathological lying is not a symptom of depression from all of the research that I have found.

There is a lot of judgmental thinking on this board, on both sides of this debate. JMO.

Hi, cody! I agree with you. Unfortunately, not everyone will agree when it comes to how we respond to those threads because it's just so controversial. So we do our best.

It is ok if we don't agree. I just would hope that we can respect the opinions of others that don't agree with us and avoid the personal indictments of another person's character. And yes, I think we all do our best. Sometimes that just seems to not be enough. {#emotions_dlg.sad} But we will just keep trying, eh?

Oh, yes. It makes me wince to be personally chastised because my opinion isn't the same as someone else's. I don't think one poster is a "better person" or a "lesser person" based on the opinion they hold on a given topic, but unfortunately we are sometimes judged that way by others. We'll certainly keep trying.

Take care, cody, and have a nice evening.Smile

I have thunder, lightning, and wind here so I'll probably be off for now.{#emotions_dlg.scared}
