This thread won't get a lot of traffic but my mom always bought Hellman's mayonnaise only. To this day I won't by another brand. Of course now I use the light or fat free but my question is do you keep on using the brands you were raised on?

Absolutely. Here on the West Coast it is Best Foods. Can't tolerate any other brand.

Yes, I still eat Hellman's and I always get the original. I don't buy the fat free stuff because they often substitute more sugar for the fat.

I've never even tried another brand, unless it was in a salad I had at a restaurant and didn't know it. Yes, I've stuck to the brands I was brought up on, which were always the name brands.

Most of the time, yes.....I gravitate towards brands and things that my Mom used too......I am a creature of habit........now my Mom rarely used mayo.....she was a French's mustard girl but I do like Hellman's Olive Oil mayo on BLT, tuna salad and pimento cheese sandwiches........wish my Mom was here to have a pimento cheese with me.......with a dill pickle on the side...

When we used to use mayo, yes, I bought the same brand - Hellman's.

We've changed our food plan so completely from yesterday that the brands we grew up with don't get a second look anymore.

No one in our immediate family uses mayo but growing up, Hellmans was in our house. It is the brand I keep in the pantry for company.

My mother bought whatever was on sale. I tend to have brand loyalty with condiments.

When the sons were young I tried the less expensive brands but decided the Best Foods was worth the money.
