Funny....the Heisman was soooo off the radar this year. The guys in my sport radio even mentioned it...non-event. Hard to compare anything w/ the Johnny Football & RG3 of yrs past.

And I couldn't be happier!!!! He deserves this honor and so do the Oregon Ducks! It must not have been publiciized much as I didn't know it was on last night. Now the Rose Bowl against the Florida State Seminoles on Jan. 1st! Go Ducks! Go Marcus!

While I don't follow college football, I was really happy to read an article in our local paper telling about 3 of the Heisman finalists (is that all there were?). The gist of the article was that finally the voters are taking note of off-the-field activity. No felons, dui's, etc. wanted. About time!

I know one of the "Ducks" and he said Marcus is so giving, very nice, clean cut, and he also was a red shirt Freshman. I am so glad for him to go so far.

Son was telling me he has a reputation as a stand up good guy! YAY for the Ducks and Marcus.

I hope they beat FSU really good in the Rose Bowl.

After last years winner . . . so glad to hear they picked someone without so much controversy and bad behavior swirling around them.

I don't think it's hard to compare at all. Have you read the stats on Mariota (a quarterbacl) or watched him run 40 years for a touchdown, squeezing between this, that and the other defenseman? He's done an outstanding job to say the least.

I dare say your local jocks on the radio are jealous he isn't a Texan.
