    Heather was a beautiful & very talented actress.I always enjoyed watching her . But she had a weakness for bad boys.She was married to Tommy Lee for about 8 years & Richie Sambora for 10. Both of these men had serious alcohol/ substance abuse problems. This didn’t help Heather stay clean, sober, or non violent!!

   I raised my son telling him that life was about choices. Unfortunately, Heather has made some bad ones. I hope that it’s not too late for her.I fear that it may be!!

It's interesting how society reacts to domestic violence and assault on police officers when the perpetrator is pretty and rich. I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for Heather. I feel sorry for her victims and family who have to deal with her.

This is sad and hurtful to the family and children no matter who is in the center of it. 

When it’s a star, it becomes more public and hopefully shines a light on this situation to help others.

@ChiliPepper,  A HUGE THANK YOU! I couldn't remember the name of that show, do you think it might be coming back? I want to see if the one gal continues her romance w/ the you know who, LOL! Also, I agree w/ you about her character, it was awful & did you notice how her face looked swollen? Now, that I know she has a possible drinking problem, maybe her face was swollen from all the alcohol. just saying, or could have been from work, who really knows. Thx so much for sharing the name w/ me. If it comes back on I'm gonna continue watching it, are you? Have a beautiful day!

Yes, an addict is always an 'addict' and once clean and sober become a 'recovering addict' IMHO, all these so called shake and bake recovery centers do is sober them up and put them back out into the same set of environmental and cultural circumstances from which they came. Same set of triggers. So, is it all about the money, a revolving door of relapse, recovery and relapse?

It's about accepting that alcoholism is a disease and following a program whose model has proven successful for millions of recovering alocholics and addicts.

Ya gotta work the program for it to work.

@maestra Hi There! After folks go to treatment they are instructed to get involved in a 12 step program & go to 90 meetings in 90 days directly after they're released. Whether they go or not is no control of the treatment center. However, I would think w/ all the $ one pays ( former friend of mine had to go) these places they could do some form of follow up, I don't know maybe they do. You are so right w/ what you wrote, I have heard too that these programs do great work! Hopefully, people that seek help in that direction will follow thru....Have a great day!
