@Spacrazy  I know! I just saw them being presented about an hour ago, so crazy!!!

@cheriere @The ones on air might have been different models that were not recalled. It's so hard to tell because QVC only lists their own item numbers. @Spacrazy

I am sticking to the old adage of water and electricity don't mix.

I can't imagine putting a throw or blanket full of wires into a washing machine. Woman Frustrated

Thank you @Mindy D  for the fine work you have devoted to this.

@Mindy D

Thanks for posting this.

I have 2 of the Berkshire heated throws for QVC.  I just checked and lucked out.

Mine are not part of the recall.

Good to know.

"If the last 5 characters of the tracker number on your throw or blanket are included in the list below, your product is affected." Quoted From Berkshire's website in the Recalls Section. Go to this section of Berkshire's site to find out the steps necessary to get a refund.

I find the numbering system I found on the CPSC site vs the system I found on the company's website very confusing.

@juanitalinda Were you able to check the last five numbers on the Washing Instructions label I just posted? It's been difficult to find the list of numbers to check against. I posted above this post. I'm happy if you have a good model.

@Mindy D :   Oh, no worries here ~ I didn't buy one. I'm really on overload of Berkshire and don't want to look at any more.  Plus, we are a family of quilters and knitters.

just a FYI.....IF you have purchased one that has been recalled, QVC is great at either calling you with the warning AND/OR sending you a letter explaining what you can do to get a refund.

they do also post their recalls on the bottom page of the homepage.

I returned the Lands End blanket. It was really heavy. DH hated it.

He uses a Berkshire throw but not on recall list.

We have a BeautyRest on our bed. It's new since one of the controllers on our old one keeps going off.

The new one has really thin wires plus is lightweight but warm. I turn it on before we go to bed. I turn off my side after I get in bed. DH likes to leave his on.
