It's been terrible here in NYC!  In addition to the heat, we've had air quality alerts ... and I am sensitive.

I just stay indoors in the air conditioning and have anything I need deliveed.

I am in suburban NYC and last night I went to my dad for a while came home changed and went out again, I actually felt ill, we cut dinner short (the place has an issue with their ac upstairs, we were in their terrace level the ac was on but it was not great) and came back to the wonderful ac of our apt.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I feel guilty complaining about the 90s.  My sister lives in AZ and said 90s would be pleasurable.

The temps came down after some rain moved in late yesterday, but the humidity is still staggering. It doesn't feel all that much cooler because it is so humid.

Finally and all day soft rain. We really needed it.

We have a house in the S.E. Valley of Az.  Thursday the rain and high wind ripped off a huge branch of the Palo Verde tree in our front lawn. The branch landed straight across our neighbors driveway.  He is out of town but we called him to tell him the landscaper would remove it tomorrow.

We are currently in Illinois and it is 87 with 62% humidity and 68 degree dew point.

This has been a horrible summer.

Amen!   BTW, because of the humidity, I saw the "real feel" temp. was 107Âş yesterday.  We had a repairman here, and I felt so sorry for him working in those conditions.  He was soaked through with perspiration, and when we offered him a cold drink, he drank two tumblersful straight down.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.
