Headache types

At age 39, I don't have a lot of experience with headaches. I've been getting them quite a bit in the last several weeks, though. Do you generally know what type of headache you're having, such as a tension, sinus or migraine? I'm pretty sure it's not a tension headache, but from what I've read, treating headaches is easiest when you know what type you're having. I'm clueless.
