I think more and more companies are using U.S. based employees....Now when I call companies at the phone number listed on their website and talk to their Customer Service Dept their script is now like this---they announce their name and where they are located, "This is Debbie your Customer Service Representative located in a U.S. based Customer Servicer Center located in (insert the city, State in the U.S. ) how can I help you...."

Funny, but I avoid calling in orders because I'm not sure they understand me; I find automated ordering much more accurate ... and faster.
I have a friend for whom foreign order reps is a problem ... she is terrible with any accent, but then she hasn't travelled very much. Since these calls are recorded, she tells that rep sorry, but I cannot understand you, hangs up and calls back again ... and waits on hold again until it's her turn in the queue. Wasted time, IMO.

I had quite a go-round with several Indian Dell reps maybe 5 years ago. They finally got the issue fixed with the sixth guy. That's after I paid $169.00. Somewhere along the line I blew up and told them I would never buy another Dell. The next time I had a problem I went back to my local tech. She replaced the hard drive and I've been fine ever since.

Northstyle dot com is still down. If you can talk to somebody that can talk they tell you they will take your order and let it sit till the website and computers are back up. they have been offline now for almost a week !
I called up and asked if they went out of business. LOL
I found something at penney's in the mean while and it went out same day just ordered online. don't mind the way most places do business online except QVC
"This is QVc automated ordering":
do you want to order the item online? push 1 for yes, 2 for no" if no, then they run 100 other items past you your running the risk of missing out on a sellout all the time your sitting there twirling your thumbs. Lot of people just put stuff in their carts and take it away from people who have the actual money. You should either order right then and there or get off the pot. Finally , they tell you to just punch in A123456 and then you answer a bunch of other questions, what is your secret PIN #, which credit card U want to use? takes 15 minutes or more then you look up at your tv screen and see "sold out". You know what on that stuff.
I order online to places that can handle it Pennys, Bed and Bath are a dream.
I got news for everybody when this winter the stores are bare because of the freighters sitting out there at the harbor for 6 months people will be ordering more online and that will probably add more to the ships. Can't win , folks. I had a friend who had to go to another state to buy a truck because there was none like he wanted here in Tx. couldn't get them lots were empty, you can't rent a car any more either.
ain't life grand ? I got some friends going to Italy in few weeks. Uh, good luck, on that, babe. I'm happy to go to Dillards ahhahahahhahaha
