If they are still living in MI, it takes a year to get thru the divorce courts with kids. No short cuts, lawyers get their fees....

If you lose your home, where will you go with that many kids?

For some who think we have a safety net or even a "system" to be used, that went out the window with your VCR.

Doubling Down with the Derrico's is on TLC I happened to be watching it now. I'm sorry to hear the parents have divorced, very surprised ! I thought they were a close couple especially with the big family ! They have a set of triplets, twins, quints etc. The husband's mom is also on the show.

When I was about 10 yrs old a family moved from CA to Missouri bringing 13 of their total 26 children with them and they moved directly across the street from our home. The houses were not very big and the Dad was a minister. They were a loving family and a crowded one.

I have never heard of them either but I don't watch TV anymore. I was watching TV during the Jon and Kate Plus 8 but grew tired of it before it went off the air.

They live in Las Vegas and they also own a vacation home in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The father is from MI, but hasn't lived there for at least 16

years.

They are a family that has a reality show on TLC.  It seems that TLC likes shows with families with many children.  They also have "Outdaughtered" and will soon have "The Baldwins".
