Are national forests moldy? The leaves remain where they fall in them.

And all kinds of small animals need leaves to hide under ,also if you have ever went into a woods ,and dug under those leaves, the soil is quite good.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I think something got confused.  When I said that the landscaper showed up next day I was jumping on him VERY happy to see him.  He actually knocked to let me know....I'm here!  I did not jump on him in a negative way.  He's a nice guy and has had it tough through the years.  We've had him well let's just say a loooooong time.

I am a girl...tee hee!!!!  Come on.....laugh!

Re: Having A Bit Of An Issue

Those butterflies are cut worms.  The prior owner of the house we live in now used to grow stuff.  He had a GREEN thumb. ............and OOOHHHH   what eatments......you never tasted such food in your life......deep, dark red tomatoes....fresh from the yard lettuces, he would grill chicken then put in black olives and hark boiled egg and make a huge salad.  Yes, I'm quoting from a movie but all is true.  He did not like those small white butterflies because they would damage some of the tomato plants as cut worms.  They have to go through the larval stage I think.   Anyway, the monarch ones caused no harm but you don't see many of them anymore.  They do migrate and I think that got wonky on them.  I do feel bad about that because I think they're indiginous.

Anyway...........oh boy.......he would make at least 90 jars of homemade tomato sauce with all thost lovely tomatoes.   I lost him though....he was one of the nicest people I ever knew.  He loved me for me.  He was fun and oh well, skip it.  We don't want a boo hooing session.   That reminds me....did anyone ever...now don't say go on the movie forum.  I'm here now so...anyway,...LOL....um oh yeah...did you guys ever see the movie THEM?  Well these giant ants had no pupate stage.  They just grew to be like nine feet long in the desert south west.  Okay....enough rambling.  I try to make the boards a place where you can laugh and think....

Re: Having A Bit Of An Issue

monicakm.....love your post....reminds me of when we were sitting in a restaurant parking lot waiting for them to open and this guy walked up to the car and started begging for money.  I said...look, we don't carry money, sorry.  I could tell he was a scammer, so anyway, he kept on.  My husband is like you, he's very timid.  I USED to be that way because I was little and scrawny but when I grew to my full adult size I got big and bad.  LOL hahaha....just trying to make ya laugh....true though.  Anyway, he kept on and I thought...I need to bank on the window for help.  I thought NO...I can't leave my husband alone.  My butt was riveted to the seat so I yelled LOOK I SAID BEAT IT!  Now, I asked you nicely to leave us alone so GO.  He still didn't I got louded and said I'd call the authorities THEN he backed away and said I must be Italian.  I'm actually German/Irish decent.  I wasn't really afraid because it was not dark out and I'm not really afraid unless I'm facing the dentist or a thunderstorm.  LOL.....God bless, hon...XXOO

Re: Having A Bit Of An Issue

where I live the on,y thing Monarch butterflies mate in is usually milk weed. Those ugly things get tall, and are an eye sore...but it works!!  We have butterfly bushes, only attracts them, they won't lay eggs in it.
