Have you purchased a Face Mask?

I have since I am considered high risk (my age plus weak immune system). It takes a couple of weeks to receive but some masks it takes over a month.  When I was at Jewel the other day grocery shopping many people wore masks.  How about you?

Re: Have you purchased a Face Mask?

A friend who is a seamstress makes them.  I bought 2.  Wear mine when I go out for a walk.  I'm amazed how many people in my area (north Phoenix) are not wearing them.

No masks no gloves.  I did find one in my kitchen still in it's packaging I bought about 15 years ago for my allergies.  Not sure why I never used in big dusting/cleanout projects.  Still have not opened it for the virus,  maybe later but do not feel the need yet.

Re: Have you purchased a Face Mask?

I've bought a few with filter pockets and sent some to my family in California, as well. I also bought bandanas and hair ties to make some of my own.

Re: Have you purchased a Face Mask?

I've bought several from Etsy and also sent some from Etsy to family.  They've all been received. The primary seller I use ships immediately and I received them very quickly.

i also bought a 50 pack of the blue disposable masks from Amazon and they came two days ago.  Paid too much for them, but didn't have to drive all around, in the middle of this pandemic, looking for something I probsbly wouldn't have been able to find.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I have two boxes that I bought last year. I use then when gardening because of the pollen.

I'm considered high risk, too. I have a few "dust" type masks which I shared with my sister, but I've just been wearing  bandanna and, of course, gloves. Now that I think of it, my sister did order us some masks about 3 weeks ago, but not due till sometime next month.

I made my own using a bandana and hair ties. Easy peasy, no sewing and I used materials I have at home.

Re: Have you purchased a Face Mask?

My husband had purchased masks last year for a home project. I haven't been out since January but he picks up necessary meds so he wears one and gloves.
