Leaves have been steadily falling since the beginning of August!  Our summers have been so brutally hot, a lot of leaves and plants are zonked out.

Yes.  The days started getting noticeably shorter in mid August.  I'm in MA.  The further north you go, the days get shorter earlier.

Yes; it's getting darker earlier (naturally), but I notice the morning darkness more since I'm an early riser.

@GoneButNotForgotten ---yes---I have too--I live in Woodinville. It's dark at 6 a.m. and then around 7-ish is dark too. I do love summer and the longer hours but am ready for fall, my fave, and cooler temps. but going to be 80 today and Saturday--not awful hot but am looking forward to a few days of a little rain next week.

@GoneButNotForgotten  I notice the days getting shorter as soon as they stop getting longer! Lol Right now, I wonder how much longer I'll be able to take an evening shower without turning on the bathroom light and f I'm going to need to turn on more lights when I'm getting ready for work soon.

I'm in central Florida and the hot summer days (and nights) will be here for another month. And then it will be wonderful here!
