Passed up a piece of clothing only because the size was 2 sizes larger than what you normally would wear - I have.

I'm positive we all have. Who would buy an article of clothing that was two sizes too large?

I'm not sure I'm understanding you, @Bonkers1.  I always pass on clothes that's two sizes too big. 🤷‍♀️

I buy clothes that are too large.  I am not worried about what the size says.  I like it and will use it I buy it.

I routinely buy coats a size or two larger.  Good t-shirts to wear with pj bottoms, a beach coverup or a t-shirt dress a size or two big for summer on the patio!

Sweatshirts I mostly buy oversized.

Depends on the piece of clothing.  If I want something to wear with leggings I almost always size up so I'm sure it has a relaxed and long enough fit.  Sometimes with coats too as I am a layer person.

I don't care what size the tag says.  I'll buy any size that fits well.

Sometimes that tag could be two sizes smaller than my usual size and sometimes it could be two sizes larger.

I don't understand why anyone would care what the tag says.

While visiting China, I bought a silk robe in size xxxl. I was at the factory and they didn't have much to choose from in that size.

In America, I would wear a Medium or size 10.

I only buy clothing that fits me.  I would never buy clothing that is too large for me to wear.

Years ago, I was browsing and came across a top in a fabulous color. Once I saw that it was way too big, I put it back. I wish I hadn't as it was a great price and I could've taken it in or something.

Most of the time I would pass up clothing that doesn't fit - either too big or too small.

I have purchased suits and blazers that were a bit too big because they were fantastic, high quality items that were on sale for 50% off or less. I had a great tailor who could easily alter them to fit me perfectly.

@Bonkers1

Are you saying you buy clothes that are oversize because you like a looser fit?
