Thought this could be a fun thread.

Have you ever ordered something and found you had already ordered it in the past and forgotten?

I just ordered a cute pair of wedge sandals on an awesome buy...thought I was very clever I found a good price. Until...I walked into my closet and I had ordered the same pair last summer...AND I had forgotten.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

Any have you ever stories?

books. I buy books that I have already read. One time, I ordered one on kindle and one paperback AT THE SAME TIME, lol.

(I was ordering some paperbacks for the beach, and some on kindle--all from one series)

I've bought a book before only to realize I've already read it after a few pages. I was in the process of buying a kindle book but a message came up that I'd already purchased itSmiley Happy

OMGosh croemer......now I have to tell on myself. Yes, last year I ended up ordering one of those D&C fleece jackets with Sherpa lining. I had one already, wore it quite a bit, and when they were on sale I ordered another one......in the same color. It came, and I hung it up..... Then went to get it out to wear it, and that is when I found the 2nd one the same color. So, I decided I would keep it, and if and when my sis comes, I will let her have it. Those jackets are great for a cold day down in San Antonio......and heaven knows, she does plenty running around.......and it will be put to good use.......

Actually, I came close to doing the same thing. I was ready to order a pair of sandals this summer and got curious about some others that I had ordered. When I looked, I found the same sandals in the same color that I was getting ready to order! I had apparently purchased them toward the end of the previous summer and forgot I had them.

And mentioning books, I used to go to yard sales and always looked at the books. It got to the point that I had to write down all the titles I already had by my favorite authors and keep it in my pocket so I wouldn't buy duplicates if I found them. Worked like a charm and saved me money I didn't need to spend!{#emotions_dlg.laugh}
