Yes! I once ordered a pair of silver earrings from Suarte. When they arrived I realized I already had them. A real DUH moment!

I ordered two pair of leopard flats at totally different times and had them in two different closets. Just found them the other day. I have no idea how I forgot about both pair. duh!

Iva already bought the same cd and lately vinyl record (since they have made a comeback!) I already had. But nothing else no.

I'm pretty sure I've done that. When I found out I had 2 of the item, I still thought how great it looked and that I still had good taste.

Yes to the shoes and books. Also bought the same movies for DH at different times. I forget which ones he has and which ones he wants and I forget to mark them off my list. At least the extra shoes and books can go to my DD, but she doesn't care for his western movies. LOL

Irritating isn't it Fluffy? Well the sale was so good on the shoes I think I will keep them...shipping would not be worth returning...that is how cheap they were.

I don't buy it. How can someone not remember buying those shoes? I could see a more generic pair of basic loafers or athletic shoes but not something like this unless you buy hundreds of pairs of shoes.

Shoes: yes but on purpose because I live in Easy Spirits and always want to have "new" ones on hand ( no pun intended ! ). The first time I bought the same Book from the paperback exchange, I created an Excel spreadsheet by author, encased it in plastic and tucked it into my " Book Bag ". Of course, it gets updated after each visit. I create a " Gift List for Christmas and Birthdays " each year so that I don't repeat giving the same gift.

This is a little off topic, but in the same category of thinking.( or non thinking)

I once cooked corn on the cob, and frozen corn for the same meal. We still laugh about it, and my kids didn't care, anyway. It was the only vegetable that they all liked.

I have bought multiples of the same thing on purpose.
