Have you ever re-gifted?

I have not watched Q for a while but today I had it on in the background and I heard one of the vendors on Q say this is a gift the person you give it to will not re-gift.

I am not judging anyone, everyone has their own opinions and can do what they want, but I think re-gifting is kind of rude and I have never done it. Nor did I ever get a gift I didn't like.

I have a friend who did it. They accidentally re-gifted a gift they got one year to the same person that gave it to them the year before. The person said to them eh I gave you that last year. (How embarrassing!..lol. The person was humiliated). My husband said before he met me he had sold a gift card on ebay, because it was to a place he hates to eat at. But he never re-gifted.

Otherwise I don't know anyone who re-gifts (or they don't admit it :-) Have you done it and if so what was the gift?
