Re: Have you ever lost a sock to the inside part of the washer

@gellen

My socks, no. I do most of the washing and drying. Many times I tell my wife before I wash, "you have an odd number of socks, say 5". She will say, "I know, other one got lost".

Learned that from telling her after and getting "they were pairs when I threw 'em down the chute". Then "I(me) must have lost it.

My own socks I always roll the pair before going "down the chute". Haven't lost 1 yet. I have found them stuck inside a long sleeve shirt sleeve, but none ever really lost.

I have socks without buddies too. I keep them in a tote bag and sometimes their buddy shows up but not often.

My mom. Used to wear knee highs and I can remember going to school and having a knee high drop out my pants.  And dryer sheets come out my clothes being worn tons of times.  Just today it happened.

Do you ever put something in a safe place where it won't get lost but you forget where that place is.

Oh, don't even get me started!  I had to stop doing that and set up a different plan for putting things places.
